Charlotte works as a professional support lawyer and a finance senior associate.

As a professional support lawyer Charlotte, supports the work of the partners and fee earners in the team. She coordinates and delivers legal training (both internally and to clients), drafts and updates the team's precedent documents, seeks to promote efficiencies in working practices (working closely with our innovation team) and provides information and commentary on legal developments and knotty legal problems to clients and our lawyers.

In her capacity as a senior associate Charlotte assists on corporate trust transactions.

Before becoming a professional support lawyer Charlotte worked as a transactional banking lawyer for many years. Charlotte divided her time between advising banks and borrowers on high profile, high value, real estate finance transactions and advising note trustees when transactions were in default. Charlotte advised the note trustee on a number of high profile restructurings and reorganisations including Railtrack, Marconi, British Energy, TH Global, the merger of Whistlejacket and White Pine (two SIVs) and the Battersea Power Station restructuring.

Charlotte also spent two years working as an in house lawyer at a well-known private bank.

She is currently an active member of various networks, including the City Finance PSL network.
