Rabia advises a wide range of international clients including financial institutions, airlines, companies and high net worth individuals in respect of general commercial litigation disputes. She has experience in both High Court litigation and arbitration. Her most recent experience includes breach of contract, fraud, conspiracy and defamation.
Rabia has recently advised an international consultancy company in defending a claim for conspiracy and defamation worth over $500 million brought against it by a Middle Eastern bank and real estate company. The claim was listed in 2014 as one of the top ten UK litigation cases of the year.
She is currently advising a large Irish financial institution in defending a claim brought against it by a property development company for damages of approximately £150 million for breach of a facility agreement. Rabia is also currently advising a Canadian company in defending proceedings brought against it by two UK Government departments for vicarious liability of its employees, breach of confidence and good faith in respect of a Government procurement contract.
Rabia has experience in advising airlines in proceedings under the LCIA Rules of International Arbitration.
